Requirements

What to Build

Tracks will be announced at the start of the hackathon and will provide guidelines for the problem your solution needs to address. Your team will choose which track to compete in at the start of the event.

What to Submit

You will submit a GitHub repository and a video demonstration to Devpost. It's essential that the submission time is between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM to ensure fairness for all competitors. Additionally, you will develop a pitch-deck-style presentation that you will present during the judging period for preliminary evaluation.

The Judging Process

The judges will be investors, engineers, and other industry professionals from the KCMO area. Each judge will be given a rubric on which to judge all the submissions in a specific track, and the scores will be normalized for each track. We will announce the winner of each track. Then, (similar to ISEF judging), all of the winners from each track (besides the pitch track) will be compiled and judged by all the judges to determine the top 3 grand award winners.
